If you do not have PIP, you can still make a claim. If you have had a slip and fall or any other type of accident in Hollywood, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Homestead or anywhere else in South Florida, our doctors will wait until the case is concluded and not ask for any money up front. The at fault insurance company will pay for bills not covered by your own car insurance and compensate you for your pain and suffering.
In Colorado, if you have medical payments coverage on your auto policy, it will pay your medical bill and the at fault insurance company will pay for bills not covered by your own car insurance and compensate you for your pain and suffering.
Because under Florida No Fault, your Personal Injury Protection coverage pays the first $10,000 of medical bills and lost wages regardless of who is at fault. You will not be penalized.
In Colorado, your medical payments coverage will pay for medical expenses. If that is exhausted, the at fault insurance company will pay the rest of the bills.
Your insurance rates do not automatically go up just because you use your PIP insurance or medical payments coverage to pay your medical bills and lost wages.

Withholding rent (where allowed by law).
