    Why Choose Us?

    Injured Clients Often Ask Us
    These Important Questions

Who is Going to Pay to Fix My Car?

The insurance company for the at-fault driver or owner will pay to fix your car and also pay for a rental car. Many attorneys do not help their clients with their property damage after a car accident. We do! You never pay us any fees or costs for this service.

How Do I Pay My Attorney?

You do not pay any fees or costs unless we win your case.

How Long Will My Personal Injury Case Take?

Most cases are settled within 3-4 months. However, if a lawsuit is needed it can take longer but most lawsuits are settled before trial.

How Do I Find a Doctor?

We work with a large network of top medical professionals in every specialty who are located close to your home or work throughout South Florida and Colorado. We work with doctors who will come to your home to treat you if that is more convenient. Many doctors provide transportation to their office.

How Do I Pay for the Doctor?

In Florida, if you are in an automobile accident, your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage on your auto policy will pay your medical bills and lost wages up to $10,000. If you do not have PIP, you can still make a claim. If you have had a slip and fall or any other type of accident in Hollywood, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Homestead or anywhere else in South Florida, our doctors will wait until the case is concluded and not ask for any money up front. The at fault insurance company will pay for bills not covered by your own car insurance and compensate you for your pain and suffering.

In Colorado, if you have medical payments coverage on your auto policy, it will pay your medical bill and the at fault insurance company will pay for bills not covered by your own car insurance and compensate you for your pain and suffering.

Why Am I Using My Insurance to Pay My Bills When I was not at Fault?

Because under Florida No Fault, your Personal Injury Protection coverage pays the first $10,000 of medical bills and lost wages regardless of who is at fault. You will not be penalized.

In Colorado, your medical payments coverage will pay for medical expenses. If that is exhausted, the at fault insurance company will pay the rest of the bills.

Will My Insurance Rates Go Up if I Use My Own Insurance?

Your insurance rates do not automatically go up just because you use your PIP insurance or medical payments coverage to pay your medical bills and lost wages.

How Do I Stay Informed About My Case?

Call Flaxman Law Group 24/7 from anywhere in South Florida. You will be able to speak with Charles Flaxman immediately or a member of our friendly, professional staff. We keep our phone lines staffed around the clock so you always get a live person when you call - not an answering service or machine. We speak English, Spanish, and Creole.

How Much is My Case Worth?

The value of your case depends on several factors, including the extent of your injuries, the amount of your medical bills, your lost wages, and the results of your diagnostic studies.

In Florida: Miami, Homestead, and Hollywood personal injury attorney Charles Flaxman is committed to fighting for maximum compensation for your case. With years of experience and a reputation for results, Charles will work tirelessly to ensure you receive what you deserve.

In Colorado: Personal injury attorney Steven Flaxman offers the same dedication and determination for clients in Colorado. He will evaluate your case thoroughly and fight for the best possible outcome, ensuring you are fairly compensated for your injuries.

At Flaxman Law Group, our attorneys in both Florida and Colorado are dedicated to securing the maximum recovery for your case.

Landlord-Tenant Dispute Clients Often Ask Us
    These Important Questions

When can a landlord keep my deposit?

A landlord can typically keep all or part of your security deposit to cover unpaid rent, damage beyond normal wear and tear, or other lease violations. However, they must provide an itemized list of deductions and return any remaining amount within a specific timeframe, as required by local laws.

Can I be evicted without notice?

Landlords must always provide notice and cannot evict without going through proper court process, unless the lease or local laws specify otherwise. For example, in cases of criminal activity or immediate danger to the property, the landlord may proceed with an expedited eviction. Always check your lease and local tenant laws for specific requirements.

What can I do if my landlord does not make needed repairs?

If your landlord fails to address necessary repairs after you've notified them in writing, you may have options such as:

Withholding rent (where allowed by law).
Making the repair yourself and deducting the cost from your rent. Reporting the issue to local housing authorities.
Seeking legal remedies in court. Document all communication and the condition of the property to strengthen your case.

How long does the eviction process take?

The length of the eviction process varies depending on local laws and the circumstances of the case. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. Generally, the process involves:

    • A formal notice period.
    • Filing of an eviction lawsuit.
    • A court hearing.
    • Enforcement of the eviction by local authorities, if necessary.
    • Tenants may appeal or request delays, which can extend the timeline.
